If you happen to be looking, this year's Earth Day celebration offers several things to do in Philadelphia this weekend. Below is a list of Earth Day activities to do with friends. Or if you have some family bonding goals to satisfy, there are also things to do in the city with younger children as well, especially if you're searching for specific Earth Day projects for kids.
Naturally, you'd want to observe any safety guidelines and protocols. Therefore ensure to keep your distance and keep your masks handy. We're, after all, still in the midst of a pandemic. The lists includes:

If hiking and stopping at different tables along trails while on a mission to become a Planet Protector sounds like your sort of adventure, then celebrate Earth Day at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the importance of planting, making a bird feeder and other wildlife-friendly crafts you get to take with you. There’s also the chance to explore the ponds to see what water bugs can tell us about the health of local waterways.
You must register, however. COVID has forced the center to limit the number of people that attend, so please be kind to make them aware if you’re no longer able to attend. And of course, masks must be worn throughout the duration of the program.
